This is a "before" picture of our latest cupboard. It is a very old pine pantry cupboard that has seen more than a few coats of paint in it's day. It has great old decorative hinges and was constructed with square nails. Unfortunately, the last coat of paint applied to it was this stiking dark gray porch paint. After I snapped this photo, Terry grabbed the heat gun to see how easily we are going to get the paint off. Well.....it will come off but not without some good old elbow grease. Then of course the next big question will be....what to do with it once we have the old paint layers off. HMMM....maybe the natural pine will look OK.....but I won't put those lovely Aura paint chips away too soon. Stay tuned for the rest of the Pantry Cupboard Makeover.
Cheers
